The two maps representing the development in an island show that it became a resort as many new infrastructure were built.
As can be seen from the maps, the area in the east of the island remained the same while the other parts underwent dramatic changes. A prier was added in the south for the boats to dock. This was likely to lead to other constructions, one of which was the reception house located in the centre of the innovated area. In addition, there was a new restaurant, linked with the reception by vehicle track. Besides this, the two areas adjacent to the reception became places of accommodation as a number of cottages were constructed as well as the footpath between them. Lastly, the beach to the west of the island served as a swimming area after the construction.
Overall, a comparison of the provided maps reveals the transformation of an island from a deserted place to a tourist attraction.
