Countries around the world will be facing significant challenges relating not only to the environment, but population and education as well.
What problems will your country face in the next ten years? How can these problems be overcome?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
In modern era, the world is driven by technological advancements and globalization. In past few years, world has seen significant changes; socially, economically and culturally. Unfortunately, all the changes have not been beneficial to humankind. Although, there are umpteen challenges each country faces, the nature of every problem varies. The challenges a developed country face and a challenges that a under developed country face are vastly different.
My country, Nepal, is one of the under developed counties which is seeking a political stability and a direction for economic development. In such condition, lack of fundamental necessities like a good healthcare facility, education system, roadways and electricity etc. are among the major problems which demands immediate attention. I believe, this will continue to be a hazardous problem in next decade as the heinous civil war has dragged my nation further ten years behind.
Furthermore, the lack of proper education system and job opportunity has caused another severe problem of brain drain. Every year innumerous human resources and talents migrate to developed countries. In next ten years when the country would be trying to rebuild its economy and infrastructure, the challenge would be to find scholars and experienced human resources like teachers, engineers, doctors etc.
To avoid such deleterious future impacts, my nation requires immediate political stability. Government should severely prosecute the corrupt politicians. The foreign funds raised from donations are meant for nation rebuilding and not to be rotten in Swiss bank account of corrupt leader. Moreover, every individual should contribute to nation in this difficult time. All private hospitals, schools, power plants etc. should not be profit oriented. Better facilities from private organizations at cheap rate would encourage citizens to stay and serve their own country. In addition, taxes should be paid regularly. Government's inability to regulate tax system should not be misused by individuals and private sectors.
To conclude, I assert that the problems in my county are umpteen and severe. It is a responsibility of every individual to join hand with government and pave a path for better future.
