Essay topic:
There are many things that motivate a person to work, but money is the most compelling. In your opinion, how influential is the power of money?
Though several factors are responsible to make a person motivated to work but undoubtedly money is on the top of the list. I think, In today's trade based world, money is needed everywhere and thus it is not possible to ignore the importance of money.
For one, work's place condition is also vital but not considered as the main important criterion in terms of a person's devotion to work. A person's dedication to work increases by many folds if he receives a handsome amount of salary per month. People also feel inspired and tend to show their greatest performance if they are highly paid, either be by government or by organization. For example, doctors in developed country earn huge amount of money and in return they provide the best health care possible to their patients.
In addition, we are living in a world where a person's place in society is determined by how much wealth he posses. No matter how uneducated and uncultured a person is, if he is a billionaire then he will be considered as one of the most prominent figure's of the society. Moreover, in some developing countries, a criminal can overpower country's law and enforcement simply by giving black money to government. For instance, the building owner of a tragic garment factory collapse accident which killed more than 1000 people in Bangladesh last year has not received any punishment since he donated some million dollar to the ruling party.
To sum up, a person's willingness to work depends on many factors but its not possible to replace money by any other thing.. If a person is rich then no doubt he belongs to the elite class of the society and may be this is what civilization has brought to our life today.
