Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am a resident of XYZ block which is situated near your supermarket ( in ABC block). i am a regular customer of your supermarket and generally do the majority of my grocery shopping there.
Though I am satisfied with the service provided by your supermarket, I would like to bring to your notice a recent accident that took place while I was shopping there which caused me some minor injuries.
On 4th August, I visited the supermarket around noon. on entering, my attention was drawn towards an elaborate display of soup cans which were artistically arranged in the shape of a pyramid. I did my shopping and got my items billed and packed. As I was nearing the exit doors, another customer lost his grip on the trolley he was pushing. It crashed right in the soup can display and all the cans started raining down on me. I was taken completely by surprise and before I could react a hundred or so soup cans were on top of me.Some of your store clerks and other customers helped me onto my feet. the soup cans were heavy enough to make my forehead and shoulder , where they hit, throb with pain. I had to visit my doctor to prescribe me some pain killers.
I would like to suggest that , in future, please have such displays placed in such an area that they remain out of reach of wayward trollies and do not hurt people.
