As a result the duties of higher education are constantly debated with one side claiming that its purpose is to support students to find a job and the opponents stating that it has a more profound meaning in our daily life. Personally, I believe that the purpose of higher education is more than finding jobs for students.
Admittedly, there is no doubt that university education plays a crucial role in job hunting. During their years spent in an university, youngsters are equipped with advanced knowledge, such as economy, psychology and archaeology and useful skills, such as communication skills, team work and writing skills. Internalized through university education, these knowledge and skills are transformed into competitive advantages, which are able to assist students to acquire a decent job.
