It is widely accepted that people who have post-school qualifications earn a higher salary than those less educated do. University students should, therefore, pay all the full cost incurred over the course of obtaining a college education.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
It is true that education plays a significant part in this rapidly changing information-based society. While I personally concede that post-school qualification holders are suggested to receive greater income than those who do not obtain the same academic levels, I disagree with the opinion that students have to take responsibility for the tuition fees themselves.
To commence with, tertiary education offers learners various obvious advantages over other less educated people. Indeed, university students are able to gain necessary and worthwhile knowledge from their lectures. Furthermore, vast amounts of efforts and skills invested in, for instance, coursework and dissertation in educational institutions potentially guarantee that students acquire adequate characteristics and endeavours which fulfill the criteria set by employers. To demonstrate, it is applicable for those people to integrate into working environment that requires both team work and individual attempt, which recruiters are used to implementing for numerous times. Accordingly, there is no doubt that people who attain further education advisedly deserve high earnings.
On the other hand, forcing students to pay for the entire academic fees would reduce their chance of having access to college and university. This spotlights poor learners from rural areas of a developing country. In fact, finance always seems to be a hindrance to them and without either subsidy or scholarships will they fail to enroll to such degrees of background. If a policy concerning compulsory payment is imposed, this will deprive many of their once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to their aspiring study as well as their future occupations. Briefly, financial difficulties do pose a threat to the educational path of some individuals.
All things considered, it is reasonable for higher education learners to secure far more valid rewards by comparison with others. Likewise, universities should assist or sponsor students’ study; otherwise they will deter much educational participation.
