Essay topic:
The exploration and development of safe alternatives to fossil fuels should be the most important global priority today.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
It is true that nowadays the world has encountered numerous worldwide problems in all aspects of life. Personally, I believe that shifting focus from fossil fuels to alternative resources is suggested to be given priority over other thorny issues.
To commence with, conventional fuel resources have undoubtedly been responsible for the severe pollution growing at a startling pace over the past few decades. For instance, global warming directly stems from the rise of carbon dioxide, which is a by-product of the processing of fossil fuels. Additionally, plants have already discharged tons of pollutants into water, subsequently causing the damage of aquamarine life on a massive scale. In other words, these kinds of energy sources pose a threat to the surrounding ecosystem.
On the contrary, far from being harmful for both the environment and other natural resources, safe alternatives potentially pave way for an energy efficiency society. To demonstrate, by harnessing renewable energy sources such as solar power will the world probably offset the ongoing loss of available nonrenewable reserves as well as reduce the rocketing energy prices. Likewise, by dint of emissions-free features, sustainable energy will have significant environmental benefits as opposed to the traditional resources.
Simultaneously, there are certainly controversial circumstances cropping up around the world like poverty or illiteracy that needs addressing urgently. Nonetheless, we should bear in mind that energy is linked to the majority part of temporary lives, varying from daily living activities to production lines in factories. Besides, there is a risk of various sources of energy dwindling in the near future due to human exploitation. That is, our planet will definitely be put in jeopardy if fuels are unable to maintain their availability to support people. As such, energy crisis is advisedly prioritized and arrested as soon as possible with a view to minimizing their adverse consequences.
To sum up, I have to reiterate the significance of research and development of alternatives in place of traditional fossil fuels. By doing so, a bright future for the society will be guaranteed.
